A few steps from the famous Charles Bridge, this hotel is situated in Kampa, the historic part of the Mala Strana.

The hotel building is a part of the oldest local structure and one of the first 15th century buildings in the area. It used to house a brewery in these old medieaval times.

Hotel was completely renovated, and reopened in May 2003 (after damage taken during big flood in 2002).

At present, the hotel consists of two buildings and among it are objects protected by the National Heritage Council.
