    Hotel description

The Hotel U tri pstrosu (At the Three Ostriches) in Prague **** is located directly in the heart of the historical centre at the famous Prague Charles Bridge and in the immediate vicinity of the other distinguished Prague sights.

The beautiful Renaissance house from 1597 is situated in the place of original Medieval pub, which was frequently visited by Charles IV, the Czech king and Holy Roman Emperor, when he watched the construction works on the Gothic stone bridge in the 14th century.
The house was built by Jan Fux, a supplier of ostrich feathers, a fashion novelty of the time, who had the front No.11 of his house decorated with three ostriches to advertise his business. Since 1606, these three ostriches have been the symbol of the house. In 1714, an Armenian businessman, Deodat Ramajan, opened in the house the first coffee shop in Bohemia. In the years 1972-76, the house underwent major restoration works supervised by the Prague conservation authorities.
Its coloured fasade was renovated and the house was rearranged to serve as a Prague hotel U Tri Pstrosu (At the Three Ostriches).

Non-stop reception provides drinks and money exchange services. They can also arrange excursions, sightseeing tours, taxi and laundry services.

A famous restaurant with international cuisine and quality wines is on the ground floor.
Terrace with a view of The Charles Bridge is opened in summer days.
You will get Voucher for discounts in many czech shops too.
